Holiday intervention

Our holiday intervention programme provides the opportunity to consolidate knowledge with staff members who are subject specialists and familiar with supporting students to be successful in maximising coursework outcomes or securing success in terminal examinations. Our staff are aware of the gaps in subject knowledge, the requirements of the specification and the common student misconceptions, so they design their intervention to address these issues.

Each intervention session is tailored to the specific needs of the cohort and aims to address priorities in both skills and knowledge.

Students are strongly advised to attend all intervention sessions for the subjects that they study. In previous years, students that fully engaged in holiday intervention entered their exams feeling better prepared and more confident as, as a result, achieved better results.

October Half term intervention

Please see below details of our October intervention. Students timetabled for a full day of intervention will be required to stay on school site for the duration of the session and will be provided with a lunch.
