Children's Mental Health Week
Published 07/02/22The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is Growing Together.
As humans, we are constantly growing and changing. Growth occurs in many different ways. Physical growth from a baby to an adult. Academic growth from learning to identify letters to writing essays. We are always growing – even when it doesn’t seem we are.
Part of Growing Together is about growing emotionally. According to the Place2Be this means finding ways to help each other grow. Challenges and setbacks can help us to grow and adapt. You may notice that things that upset you as a young child, no longer upset you.
Trying new things can help us to move beyond our comfort zone into a new realm of possibility and potential.
